What is CASHBACK?
CASHBACK is India’s largest multi-brand reward program. Members earn points against purchases made with CASHBACK Partners, and can then use those reward points for savings on future purchases.
How does CASHBACK work on ETHECS?
CASHBACK Members can redeem and earn reward points on ETHECS, with every flight and hotel booking.
How do I earn CASHBACK Points on ETHECS?
Existing CASHBACK Members simply need to enter the linked mobile number in the ‘CASHBACK’ field while making a booking on ETHECS to earn points.
When will I get my newly-earned CASHBACK Points?
For flight bookings, the points will be credited to your CASHBACK account as soon as the booking is confirmed, and you can redeem them immediately on your very next booking. For hotel bookings, the points will be credited to your CASHBACK account once the booking is confirmed, but you can only redeem them after that particular trip is complete, i.e once you successfully check out of the hotel.
How do I redeem CASHBACK Points on ETHECS?
It’s easy. You can redeem your existing CASHBACK Points before you proceed to the payment screen. Simply enter the mobile number and PIN linked to your CASHBACK account in the fields provided, that’s it! Note: Redemption of CASHBACK Points is not applicable on the convenience fee
How many CASHBACK Points can I earn when I make a booking on ETHECS?
The points you earn depend on the value of the booking you make.Every ₹100 spent on desktop and mobile websites earns 1 point.Every ₹100 spent on the mobile app earns 3 points.
I don’t have a CASHBACK account. How do I sign up?
Easy. After you complete your booking on ETHECS, you will see an option to register for CASHBACK on the confirmation screen. Simply fill in the details, and you’ll be on your way to having a CASHBACK account. And, once the account is active, we’ll credit the points you earned with the completed booking. How many points can I redeem at a time?
You can redeem as many points as you want, as long as the value of the points redeemed is equal to or less than the value of your flight or hotel booking.
Note: Every 4 points you redeem saves you ₹1. Points can only be redeemed in multiples of 4. So for instance, if you have 111 points in your CASHBACK account, you can only redeem up to 108 points when you make your booking..
What happens if I cancel my flight?
Not a problem. We will refund the booking amount (after deducting airline cancellation fees) to the original payment source (credit card, debit card, mobile wallet etc).
The cancellation fee will be first adjusted against the CASHBACK Points redeemed at the time of booking. If the cancellation fee exceeds the value of the points redeemed, the remaining amount will be adjusted against the original payment source.
If the cancellation fee is less than the value of the points redeemed, the remaining CASHBACK Points will be credited to your CASHBACK account.
Note: If the cancellation fee exceeds the value of the redeemed points, the balance will be deducted from the final refund amount.
And what happens if I cancel my hotel booking?
If your hotel offers free cancellations, a full refund will be initiated as soon as you cancel. Any CASHBACK Points you redeemed on this booking will be credited back to your CASHBACK account instantly, and the remaining amount will be refunded to the original payment source (card, netbanking, mobile wallet etc.)
Any cancellation fee will be adjusted first against the CASHBACK Points redeemed at the time of booking. If the cancellation fee exceeds the value of the points redeemed, the remaining amount will be adjusted against the original payment source.
If the cancellation fee is less than the value of the points redeemed, the remaining CASHBACK Points will be credited to your CASHBACK account.
Note: Some hotel bookings on ETHECS are non-refundable. Please remember to review the hotel’s cancellation policy before you book.
I made a booking, but I didn’t earn any points.

How do I know if my number is verified?
You can check this by entering your number in the ‘CASHBACK’ section before you make a booking. If your number is verified, you will be asked to enter your PIN to proceed with the booking. In case your number isn’t verified, you can still proceed with the booking, and sign up to become a CASHBACK Member once your booking is complete.
I’m not able to redeem my points, help!
Please check that you have entered your CASHBACK linked mobile number and PIN correctly. If you are still unable to redeem the points, please get in touch with CASHBACK for additional support.
Can I redeem CASHBACK Points when making a booking for someone else?
Yes, absolutely! Be sure to enter the phone number and PIN linked to your CASHBACK Account, and you can redeem your points against the booking.
What are the CASHBACK sign-up conditions?
By signing up for CASHBACK through ETHECS, you agree to the terms and conditions applicable to all CASHBACK Members. Issuing of memberships will be at the sole discretion of CASHBACK, subject to the fulfilment of the requisite criteria. CASHBACK also reserves the right to contact members regarding their membership and all associated functions. You can cancel your membership by calling the CASHBACK Contact Centre.
